‘Elementary’ season 3 spoilers: First details on new Rich Sommer episode
You know that something is wrong with the world, and CBS is just a little too obsessed with NFL football, when the network chooses to hype up the guest appearance by former quarterbacking great Phil Simms on “Elementary” over the return of a great guest star in Rich Sommer.
Anyhow, enough complaining. The “Mad Men” favorite will be seen in the third episode of the show’s third episode of the season (airing on November 13), and the title here is pretty excellent: “Just a Regular Irregular.” Sherlock Holmes is going to rely on some of his colleagues from the world of path to assist in the case, and you’re going to see some more tension play out between Joan Watson and Holmes’ new colleague in Kitty Winter.
Just take a look at the attached synopsis below for some greater insight:
“Sherlock helps a math genius from his network of ‘Irregulars’ experts after he stumbles upon a body while participating in a math puzzle competition. Meanwhile, Joan attempts to extend an olive branch after she learns about Kitty’s past.”
Will this episode, and this third season as a whole, meet all of the expectations that we have? We can only hope so, since we’ve been waiting for so long to see the show return to the air. We’re sure that CBS is loving their Thursday Night Football deal for now, but it comes at the expense of all of us who enjoy seeing this sort of crime-solving in a weekly basis.
