‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: On Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, and big events

Well, it looks like we can put it in pretty certain terms at this point: Brittany and Santana are going to be getting engaged on “Glee.”

For one reason or another, the producers haven’t really been that interested in trying to keep this a secret, and we can mostly argue that the reason why could just be that this brings more attention to the show. Maybe, more viewers will check back to the show if they know that one of their favorite longtime couples will be getting back together and possibly even getting married by the end of the series.

According to E! News, there is definitely still time, given that the engagement is going to happen within the third episode of the season. What will be a little more interesting is trying to figure out what their larger role in the story is going to be away from that. Heather Morris and Naya Rivera are not series regulars on the final season, but they should at least have a few assorted opportunities to make their presence felt. Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) looks to be the lead of the show now, given that the entire push for the final season in the first place is her returning to Lima after a failed stint in Hollywood, and her attempts to put New Directions back together.

There is no firm premiere date for the final season just yet, but you can expect it to be sometime early next year.
