ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: First look at Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion in ‘Meme Is Murder’

Castle -There are few episodes of “Castle” that we are looking forward to more at the moment than “Meme is Murder,” mostly because this is a sort of case and subject matter that we have not seen the show take on before.

Basically, the theme of this particular episode is as such: Castle and Beckett have to take on yet another complicated case, but this one is largely about their attempt to figure out how social media and many forms of technology they don’t quite understand may have played a role in a murder.

To a certain extent, we would think that Nathan Fillion’s character would have some understanding of things like Twitter and Facebook. After all, he is a modern author, and they use social media to communicate things from time to time! Then again, he may also have someone who is on his staff who does quite a bit of the heavy lifting for him. Who knows when you are talking about such a thing?

Regardless, Fillion and Stana Katic look to have one of the more fascinating cases of the season in front of them a week from Monday with this, and one of the other things that we really appreciate about this the most is that it gives the show an opportunity to really propel itself into the 21st century. While we do love “Castle” very much, there are also quite a few episodes out there where we feel like they could almost be done on any crime show over the past few decades.
