‘The Flash’ spoilers: Meet the mysterious Clay Parker

Sometimes, “The Flash” is going to introduce characters who have deep ties to the DC universe, and this makes us excited just from the standpoint of getting to see some interesting characters who we are familiar with already.

However, at the same time there are also some characters from time to time who are much more mysterious, and we have to wonder just who they are, what they want, and how they will be roped into the story. This is what the mystery is with this article, and the character of Clay Parker.

According to a new report from TVLine, we’ll first meet Parker during the upcoming 12th episode of this season, which should air at some point early next year. He is an escapee from the famed Iron Heights prison, and he is going to try to convince his girlfriend, who possesses some powerful abilities, to participate in “one last heist.” (Here’s a note to all super-powered girlfriends of criminals: There is never “one last heist.” Something crazy is always going to happen before the end.)

The thing that we may actually be the most surprised about when it comes to “The Flash” at the moment is simply that for one reason or another, this series has not been picked up for a back nine episodes yet by The CW. Maybe announcing this is just a formality, but this show has been an enormous ratings revelation for the network so far! It’s their most-watched and highest-rated show in several years! We feel like it’s coming, though, and there is therefore nothing to worry about.
