‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Official details on Nina Dobrev appearance
You’ve already heard a few things about the upcoming Nina Dobrev appearance on “The Originals,” but the best thing that we can perhaps tell you now is you’re really not going to have to wait that long to see her on the spin-off as Tatia.
Dobrev’s appearance comes during the upcoming November 3 episode entitled “Red Door,” and based on the official synopsis below, it sounds like she will be used mostly as a pawn in order to convince Elijah that he really needs to listen to Esther much more than his brother Klaus:
“In order to show Elijah (Daniel Gillies) that her plan is what’s best for him, Esther forces him to relive a time long ago when he loved a young woman named Tatia (guest star Nina Dobrev). With the help of Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is determined to find Elijah, who has gone missing, but is torn when she discovers that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is also in trouble. Elsewhere, Cami (Leah Pipes) finds herself in a dangerous situation when Mikael (guest star Sebastian Roche) takes her hostage as a way to lure Klaus to him, and Davina (Danielle Campbell) makes an upsetting discovery about Kaleb’s (guest star Daniel Sharman) true identity. Lastly, a violent confrontation ensues when Klaus comes face-to-face with Mikael.”
While we’ve listened to the story of Tatia be told on “The Originals” already, there’s a little bit of a difference between this and actually seeing the character in the flesh. This is what we’re especially excited to see here. Plus, Dobrev has already shown herself to be rather adept at taking on a variety of different characters thrown at her by producers on “The Vampire Diaries.”
