‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 5 preview: A tribal swap; Jon goes nuts

Jon Misch -Next week on “Survivor,” we have an episode that has a high bar to match. Tonight’s episode was ridiculously entertaining beyond words. We had a huge blindside, and what made it even more entertaining was the way in which all of this ultimately shook out. The women stuck together while the men acted like they were all kings of the castle, and this could be a problem moving forward.

So with Drew Christy now out of the picture by his own doing, someone’s going to be more than a little bit upset over this, right? Well, that person is Jon Misch, who is angry about his best bro being sent home from the game. This means that he declared war on the rest of his tribe, which really is a terrible move in the game.

We almost are bummed out in this instance by a tribal swap, mostly because things were starting to get so good with things the way that they were that there didn’t need to be anything else. For example, we were really looking forward to seeing how Hunahpu tried to handle their status moving forward, and with all of the men all each doing a different thing while the women banded together.

What should be interesting from this is seeing who decides to make working with their loved one a priority, and then who decides to go it alone. If all four separated players are all on the same tribe, things could get truly complicated in the end.
