‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: ‘NCIS’ alum scores multi-episode arc

The Blacklist logo any season“The Blacklist” has certainly enlisted many a popular guest star already, and they have just found another new recurring player in Scottie Thompson.

According to a new report from TVLine, the actress (who is best known for a recurring role as Jeanne Benoit on “NCIS”) will be coming on board the NBC hit for at least four episodes in the role of Zoe D’Antonio. There is not a significant amount known about the character at the moment, we do know that she comes from a “blue-collar” background, and there is a significant connection between herself and Raymond Reddington (James Spader). Cold she be the mysterious “Jennifer” we’re hearing so much about? It’s possible, but that feels a little soon given that we are literally just beginning the actual search for this character.

Then again, we are going through so much on this right now that anything is possible. Right now, the list of “Blacklist” mysteries include Naomi Hyland, Jennifer, Ressler’s pill addiction, Liz Keen and that mystery door, and also the Big Bad otherwise known as Berlin. Those are a lot of moving parts all crammed into a single episode.

Hopefully, we are going to be delivered at least a few answers coming in the near future, mostly due to the fact that there is only so much time left in this particular fall part of the season. NBC is putting on “State of Affairs” in this timeslot, and that is something that we discuss at length in the most-recent podcast related to the show.

For now, what do you think about Thompson’s casting on “The Blacklist”? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts / reactions in the comments! (Photo via NBC.)
