ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Madeleine Stowe on further Emily, David drama

This Sunday, the moment that you’ve likely been waiting for on “Revenge” is going to be here, and Emily Thorne is going to come face to face with the man in David Clarke she’s been trying to avenge all of these years. Her life will be changed forever, and another interesting question is going to be just what she has been fighting for all of this time.

If you’re looking for a small tease on this particular reunion specifically, we’re lucky to have one! Speaking to E! News on the subject, Victoria Grayson herself in Madeleine Stowe had the following to say:

“You’re going to see a father and daughter probably bond, although it’s going to be in a very tumultuous way.”

We would imagine so, given the delusions that David seems to be holding onto about Victoria, and also what she has told him about “Emily Throne” so far.

Stowe also teases that we’re going to flashback to when Victoria made the decision to destroy her life with David, and how much of it had to do with both Conrad and Daniel:

“You’re going to find out Victoria never really understood why she did what she did and it’s actually very obvious because Conrad was involved with terrorists and Victoria knowing this, had to choose between her lover or her son’s life.”

The good news about these stories is that it seems as though they are going to offer up more layers to who Victoria and these other characters really are, and that to us is very much a good thing. We don’t like to think of anyone on this show as wholly good or wholly evil; it makes things so much more confusing as to who to root for.
