‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 4 preview: Nate Getz returns to help Nell

NCIS Los AngelesTonight, “NCIS: Los Angeles” had an episode that brought quite a bit to the table, from action with the Hetty story to some great stuff between Kensi and Deeks. Unfortunately, this “great stuff” did not end up with the two of them getting together.

Next week’s episode is entitled “The 3rd Choir,” and from what we know about this right now, it may be an episode that is taking a different approach. Nell will be in the spotlight more than recently, and you’re going to see the return of an old favorite in Nate Getz. Take a look at the attached synopsis below for some further updates:

“When the NCIS: LA team learns that someone from their past is targeting one of their own, they desperately search the city. Meanwhile, Operational Psychologist Nate Getz visits Nell to help her through her traumatic experience, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Monday, Oct. 20 (9:59-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Peter Cambor returns as Operational Psychologist Nate Getz and Gerald McRaney (“Jericho”) guest stars as a retired Navy admiral.”

There is one other minor bone we’d like to pick here with CBS for this show, and that is the whole 9:59 p.m start time. Why do this? Given that “The Voice” often doesn’t end up 10:01, you basically are screwing people out of the start of your show, and limiting your potential audience even more. Just make “Scorpion” the standard hour; at this point, it’s also drawing the better ratings. We do wonder, though, if the two shows will swap out if the ratings start to change.
