‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19 results: Was Michael Waltrip, Jonathan Bennett, or Tommy Chong eliminated?

HereTonight, “Dancing with the Stars” really got rid of most of the powder puff critiques, and we have to thanks the addition of Jessie J as a judge for this. As we know from “The Voice” UK, she doesn’t put up with a whole lot of nonsense.

To be fair, there is some unnecessary fluff on the show that needs to be cut, and the biggest amount of it comes courtesy of Michael Waltrip. He just doesn’t seem comfortable in his routines, and to be honest we’re starting to feel bad for some of the people who are dancing with him.

Still, we thought there was a chance going into the results tonight that he would stay, mostly because there are also some other questionable performers in the competition right now. We’re surprised by Jonathan Bennett’s low scores, given that he seems on paper like he’d be great, and he really wants to do well at this.

Then, you have Tommy Chong, who is just a whole lot of fun, but not altogether great. These were the three going into the elimination we thought to be in danger, but that didn’t mean one of them would be leaving.

Ultimately, the eliminated dancer was … no one! With the Switch-Up twist that took place, the show clearly decided that there was going to be something a little bit different needed here. We do think that the three people above were the ones in the most danger, but we’ll see what happens next week. The funny thing? Given that this week’s scores will carry into next week, we still think that these three are going to be in danger.
