ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic take on web celebrities
Admittedly, we’ve been very curious for a long time about the upcoming “Castle” episode entitled “Meme Is Murder.” Why? The title is hilarious. Yet, sometimes, that is all it takes to really get us into a story.
As for what you can actually expect to see in the episode itself, this story is going to revolve very much around internet celebrities, and the crazy world that many of them live in. Unfortunately, this is a dangerous world just as much as it is fun, and Rick (Nathan Fillion) and Kate (Stana Katic) are going to have to dive into this head-first if they want to figure out who the responsible party is. This episode may not air for two more weeks, but you can see more of what to expect in the official synopsis right now:
“When a web celebrity is murdered, Castle and Beckett explore the flashy world of internet fame. But when the killer posts pictures from the crime scene on a photo-sharing site, they realize they are up against a social media sociopath who may strike again.”
There are some episodes, including tonight’s “Clear and Present Danger,” that we automatically assume are going to be funny ones. With this one, though, we are not actually sure what the tone will be. We’re sure that there will be some funny moments in here, but we could also see it being somewhat-intense given that this is such a foreign world to Castle and Beckett. What we’re hoping is that this is an episode that allows Alexis to be more involved in the story. We love Molly Quinn, but she’s not getting a ton of big stories at the moment.
