‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Louis Walsh may leave; Stephanie Nala, Chloe Jasmine controversies

Before Sunday’s “X Factor” results show airs, we felt it good to give you at least a few other updates all about some of the key players involved in the show.

Stephanie Nala hit with “bully” label – There are numerous message on Twitter accusing the singer, who is a part of Team Cheryl’s Girls, of being mean to others when she was growing up. Is it true? Maybe. It’s hard to say, but it’s certainly not the first time that we’ve heard of such things. This was a big part of the narrative last year with Tamera Foster, who was the subject of similar allegations.

We understand why this is important to point out, since the victims of course do not want to see someone who was terrible to them succeed. The problem is that we don’t get the full story from these reports, and it can become extremely damaging to the reputation of not entirely true.

Chloe Jasmine’s struggles – The story of Chloe is a little more interesting, given much of her narrative is out in the open. More and more we hear stories about racy imagines being leaked, but is this really that much of a surprise? She’s a model, and having a model being involved with controversial photo shoots is somewhat expected.

The problem Chloe runs into is this: While she is a great singer and was one of our favorites last night, she’s going to have a hard time winning over the middle-class voters, or the young girls wanting someone to relate to. Her ceiling feels almost like sixth place, regardless of however good she is.

Could Louis Walsh leave? – We’ll believe it when we see it. The longest-tenured judge told the Daily Mail that this may very well be his last season on the show. The report also said that he almost left before this season, but was persuaded with a new contract to stay put.
