‘King of the Nerds’ season 3 cast, premiere date announced by TBS

King of the Nerds -Clearly, TBS has now problem announcing their “King of the Nerds” season 3 premiere date in advance … as in long in advance.

The network announced this past week that the new season of the show is going to come back on the air on Friday, January 23 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. If we’re going to be honest, we’re not a big fan of the timeslot. This means that it could be up against “Shark Tank,” and it’s never a good idea for one reality hit to be up against another. Also, “The Amazing Race” has struggled since it moved to the night. Why couldn’t TBS have just aired it another night? We’ll be scratching our heads on that for a while.

Anyhow, at least Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong are making the best of it with a pretty hilarious rap below, which includes some highlights from the show, larping, tech stuff, and about three or four things we totally want to go out and do right now. It looks like there may be even more drama than last season, which is saying something given that Zack wanted to systematically destroy every other person on his own team at one point. (Simultaneously, this is why he was probably our favorite person on the entire season.)

We’re still working to figure out how we’re going to cover the new season, given that TBS put this news out there crazy-early and there are still more than three months to go until it actually comes on the air. Rest assured that there will still be weekly podcasts, reviews, previews, and we’ll probably do some sort of ranking and spotlight articles along the way. Once this gets going, we typically cannot help ourselves.

Therefore, be on the lookout over the coming months; we’ll probably start preparing our coverage in early January, leveling up in our personal training grounds before meeting the boss battle that is the premiere.
