‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 3 video: The team rallies around Hetty

What’s one thing that Sam, Callen, Deeks, and Kensi all have in common? a fierce protection for Hetty. (Yeah, we know that they have other things in common too, including a propensity for kicking serious butt and taking names.)

In the latest sneak peek below for Monday night’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode, you can see the four crime-fighters all share a deep level of concern for her, and also a desire to do pretty much whatever they need to in order to bring her back. That means they are willing to go all the way to Washington if they need to, but we’re betting (at least for now) that there may still be some other options.

All we know is that at a certain point, we want to see the show move on and do some other things. Namely, we really want to get somewhere with the Deeks / Kensi relationship, given that we’ve already been dealing with this dynamic for years. There’s only so long that you can dangle the carrot before someone decides that they really don’t feel like carrots anymore. This show may not be a romance, but you can get them together without 20-minute sequences of the two running off to the beach together, arm in arm.

The one other thing that we want to see? Something that gets enough diehard fans excited to boost the ratings. This Monday timeslot is murder for the show, and really wish that CBS had went in a different direction with it.
