‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 2 video: Jensen Ackles’ Dean v. the Mark of Cain (again)

For Dean Winchester on “Supernatural,” we imagine that the Mark of Cain is going to become in some ways a recurring villain for him. It’s the one thing that seems to be keeping him from what he wants to do right now, which is mostly going out, partying, and continuing to get Crowley the most hilarious drinks possible at a bar.

In the sneak peek video below from Tuesday night’s new episode “Reichenbach,” we even see Jensen Ackles’ character do this before Crowley carefully informs him of some very-pertinent information: The Mark of Cain needs to be fed. If he doesn’t do it, then all of this madness stops for him. It is a need more so than a want, or anything else for that matter.

It is through these scenes that we anticipate getting to see more of the darkness that is within Deanmon, Demon Dean, or whatever other name you want to give him. The black eyes moment is especially creepy in the video, but is a nice reminder just in case you somehow forgot about that part of this.

Elsewhere in this episode, get ready to see a good bit of struggling from Dean’s brother Sam, who is going to continue to do whatever he can in order to find him. Unfortunately, we imagine that much of these efforts will be unsuccessful until Dean actually makes himself in a position to be saved. We know that the episode following this one, which is actually directed by Jensen, is really one to watch out for more than any other.
