‘Gotham’ spoilers: When will you learn more about Donal Logue’s Harvey Bullock?

Is there a standout character on “Gotham” other than the notorious Penguin? We have to ask the question in this way, mostly because everyone knows that Oswald Cobblepot at the moment is king.

In second place, though, we would firmly put Donal Logue’s Harvey Bullock. The guy is not well-known to casual Batman fans, but he’s awesome on the show with its rough edges, dirty-cop behavior, and the occasional tendency to be a coward when he knows the alternative will get him killed. Where does all this come from? For the upcoming sixth episode, we are going to get a little glimpse into this man’s complicated cast, and cause him to relive some parts of his life he would most likely prefer to forget. “Spirit of the Goat” is the October 27 episode of the series, and you can head over here to see further news on what you can expect:

“When a killer begins targeting the first born of Gotham’s elite, Bullock is forced to confront traumatic memories from a nearly identical case he worked in the past. Later, Gordon is confronted by past decisions.”

So Gordon gets a blast from his past, too? How lucky! We only hope that it gives the character a little more depth. Right now, here is what we know about the guy: He has very few friends, a girlfriend he has no chemistry with, and a surprisingly nice place that is mostly because of said girlfriend. Also, Major Crimes doesn’t like him at all, and the Penguin knows where he lives. We wouldn’t wish the latter on anyone.
