‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Stevi Ritchie, Lola Saunders, Overload, Jack Walton named wildcards
Before we even had a chance to see the finalists perform on “The X Factor” UK tonight, there was enough announcement that had to be revealed: Who among these motley crew of singers advanced to the live shows and got to perform?
Each judge chose an actor for another judge, and while there is a part of us that wants to call shenanigans right now, we understand some of these picks.
The Overs – Stevi Ritchie (picked by Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini). Yep, that happened. We really like Stevi as an entertainer; he’s not a good singer, but to be honest we prefer him to half of the people in the competition. At least we remember him.
The Groups – Overload (picked by Mel B). Well, this also broke the mold. They weren’t even at Judges’ Houses! Then again, we’re all for anything that makes Louis Walsh look silly.
The Girls – Lola Saunders (picked by Louis Walsh). Hey, Louis did make a really good decision here! Who would’ve thunk it?
The Boys – Jack Walton (picked by Simon Cowell). To be honest, we barely remember him. Yet, we trust Simon, and he is probably a better singer than Jake Quickenden, who actually advanced in this category.
Of the group, we’d say Overload has the best chance to make it far. Stevi will still probably make around the top 9 or so just because he’s got a personality the size of the sun.
What’s your take on the wild cards acts, and who do you think is the most capable of these acts to actually make it far? Let us know! you’ll be able to see our review of the show later at the link here, so be on the lookout for that.
