‘Elementary’ season 3 spoilers: First details on premiere story, Kitty Winter

The latest -CBS has done a cruel thing to us when it comes to Thursday Night Football: They are making us wait quite a while to see more when it comes to “Elementary.” The third-season premiere will not be airing until Thursday, October 30, but you don’t have to wait that long to see some more details about it!

Here is what we know for the time being: This particular installment is entitled “Enough Nemesis to Go Around,” and one of the particularly enormous themes of the story is going to be figuring out whether or not Holmes can fit back in to the world in New York after so much time away. Joan Watson will have advanced so much further in her role of private investigator, and his new partner Kitty Winter may not be as much hope as he would like.

Want to find out a little bit more? Then just take a look at the synopsis below:

“Holmes returns to New York with a new apprentice and a renewed interest in working with the NYPD after being fired by London’s MI6. However, Captain Gregson won’t let him resume consulting for the department without permission from his former partner, Watson, the NYPD’s new go-to private investigator, on the third season premiere of ELEMENTARY, Thursday, Oct. 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Gina Gershon guest stars as Allison March, a suspected leader of a criminal enterprise. Ophelia Lovibond guest stars as Kitty Winter, Holmes’ new apprentice.”

We are excited to see how all of this story eventually ties itself up, mostly because there is so much within the world of “Elementary” to like, but it did need a shake-up. Hopefully, Winter at least makes things crazy enough to put Holmes and Watson in a situation where they do realize the value that the other one holds.
