‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 4 preview: Ellen Pompeo’s discoveries in ‘Only Mama Knows’

For those hoping to see Meredith get to the bottom of these Ellis Grey mysteries on “Grey’s Anatomy,” next week’s new episode entitled “Only Mama Knows” is going to have some more answers … at least based on what we know right now.

Ellen Pompeo is going to have an enormous storyline coming up once again, and we’re also going to see Maggie shock everyone at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Of course, there will also be some other updates that go beyond the Grey family, including Alex finally moving forward, and Callie pressing forward with the Veterans despite everything that happened with Owen and her goals this week.

“Secrets from Ellis Grey’s past come to light when Meredith watches old videos and reads through her mother’s journals. Meanwhile, Maggie rocks the hospital with an unexpected announcement; Alex gets new responsibilities and Callie focuses her attention on the Veterans’ project.”

We hope at this point that the Maggie story reaches a resolution soon, if for no other reason than that there is only so long that we want this to go on for. It is hard to spend so much time on a character who is completely new to the story still, even if they do have ties to the lead of the show in Meredith.
