‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: What’s coming for April and Jackson?

Are you hoping to find out when “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to further dive into the story of April and Jackson? Despite these two characters being a huge part of season 10, in between the botched wedding to Matthew and the real wedding with these two characters, they were constantly in the spotlight. April’s pregnancy only adds to that equation right now.

However, one of the reasons why we haven’t seen a whole lot of this playing out recently in pretty simple: There is just so much else happening on the show. You’ve got the unstable relationship between Meredith and Derek, and the arrival of Maggie to the scene has really thrown a wrench into everything. Ellen Pompeo’s character has to realize whether or not she is okay with having a possible half-sister in her world.

Speaking to E! News in a new interview, Sarah Drew explained that it is probably going to be around episode 6 when this story really starts to take off for these two, which is probably important given that they do have so much ground they need to cover in the months ahead. We suppose that the show is waiting mostly to ensure that there is enough time to devote to them; while that may be in a way frustrating, we also prefer it to only getting a few little pieces of their story here and there without any real resolution, or feeling that the show is touching on it again.
