‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 5 video: Want to see drunk Amy and Bernadette?

If you love the episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” where the men and women each by and large have their own separate storylines going on, then we have a feeling you are going to love what CBS is bringing to the table come Monday night.

After all, the ladies are going to be in Las Vegas for the half-hour, trying to take in some fun away from some of their husbands / boyfriends / fiances. However, for Penny a problem arises when she realizes that she needs to continue studying for her job, and therefore leaves both Amy and Bernadette to their own devices … which may not be good.

In the video below, you can see Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik’s characters, who are both clearly drunk but still trying to have a good time. For Amy, that somehow means that she is going to compliment Bernadette repeatedly on her looks, while Bernadette seems to be mostly interested in playing with her straw. Based on the size of the drinks that these two have right now, we imagine that by the end of the episode, one of them is going to be passed out on a floor somewhere, and Penny will have to be the responsible one and come up with a rescue.

Is there one thing that the show is missing right now? We’d say so, and we would also add that this missing link may be more or less the larger storyline. The wedding for Penny / Leonard is not in the near future, and with Sheldon back, we need the characters to really be building to something. The biggest long-term plots we have are Raj’s girlfriend and Stuart living with Howard’s mom, but these are not stories we see every week.
