‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: Filming continues in Spain

We try not to share too many details about “Game of Thrones” throughout the filming process, and there are a few simple reasons for that. We don’t want to ever make production more difficult for some of the cast and crew members, and we also don’t want to give so much away that the season is ruined.

What we will tell you is that some cast members have spent a good bit of time in Spain this month, which is where the series is spending a little time shooting the scenes that should make up Dorne. This past season was an introduction of sorts to the Martell family in the form of Prince Oberyn, and now that you’ve met him, there is an opportunity for the rest of the series to throw in more and more members of the clan, including the land that they hail from. We already saw some of the casting accentuate exactly how many people close to Oberyn we are going to meet this coming season.

How are they going to fit all of this end? Basically, the producers are adding something, and then also taking something else away. As you may or may not have heard, we are probably not going to see much of Bran Stark this year, or at least in his typical form with Hodor. Also, with other storylines catching up now to where they are in the books, the show is most-likely going to emphasize those that still have somewhere to go, and Dorne is one of them.
