‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 2 preview: Michael Chiklis in ‘Massacres and Matinees’

Check out all of our premiere coverage.

Tonight, “American Horror Story” kicked off its latest season in “Freak Show,” and it was an episode that really crammed quite a bit into the span of 90 minutes.

If you enjoyed that story, let us just hope that you are ready and prepared for the rest of this crazy ride. There is so much more to come, and next week sounds wonderful in between Michael Chiklis, more terror when it comes to Twisty the Clown, and a few changes to Jupiter, Florida that could alter the culture of the freak show forever. Want further updates? Take a look at the attached synopsis:

“A citywide curfew threatens to shut down the Freak Show. A strongman from Ethel’s troubled past arrives at camp. Gloria arranges a terrifying play date for Dandy. The Tattler Twins reveal a talent that could knock Elsa from the spotlight.”

Basically, the one piece of advice we can give you if you were uncomfortable with the premiere is to make sure you’re watching this one with a friend, and not in the dark. If you thought the first episode was creepy, this is most likely going to blow that right out of the water. Based on what we hear, it’s only going to get scarier.

If nothing else, some of these chills may be offset with the arrival of so many new characters, with Chiklis of course leading the way in all his glory.
