‘Witches of East End’ season 3: Jenna Dewan Tatum on waiting for renewal news

In case you are wondering whether or not the cast of “Witches of East End” know more about the show’s renewal on Lifetime, the answer to that is “not really.” Just like many of us, they are still sitting around, waiting to see what happens next. The only difference is that they will probably get the call on the renewal / cancellation news a few minutes earlier than us.

Following the show’s season 2 finale on Sunday, Jenna Dewan Tatum (Freya) made it clear just what the timeline is going to be for her getting the news, while at the same time thanking everyone for watching in the first place. Just check out what she had to say on her Twitter:

“Thank you to all the amazing cast,crew and fans of #WitchesofEastEnd! It was an amazing season!! Thanks for watching and loving the finale :) … And for everyone asking, will let u know if and when there’s a definite 3rd season! Thanks for all your passion :) #WitchesofEastEnd”

As we’ve said this week already, we feel like the news about the show’s possible renewal / cancellation will come out at some point before the week is over, mostly because there is really only so long that you can delay something like that before actors have to move on to do other things. Plus, Lifetime as a network also has to get their own plans sorted out.

What we would say is that if the network wants season 3 to be the show’s last, we hope they make it clear when they make the announcement. The last thing that we want is this show to end on a cliffhanger.
