‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 6 video: Charlie Hunnam, Theo Rossi, Jimmy Smits, and changes

Last night, you witnessed a “Sons of Anarchy” episode entitled “Some Strange Eruption,” where there were many important scenes for several characters. While we did not have a shocking death per se, the pieces did move around significantly on the chessboard.

In the promo below, you get a better sense of what we are talking about. For example, Nero (Jimmy Smits) was forced to pick a side after spending so much time on the fence between SAMCRO and the Mayans; finding out from Jax (Charlie Hunnam) about Lin and Tara may have been all the motivation he needed. Jax will remain on the warpath, but we wonder if some information from Unser may change things for him at all.

Meanwhile, Juice (Theo Rossi) has some of the most important work yet. First, he has to figure out whether or not he wants to let Gemma (Katey Sagal) live after she tried to abandon him out in the middle of nowhere, away from all the action. Then, he once again has an opportunity to sell out the club. Now that he realizes that the powers that be seem to want him gone, he becomes one of the most powerful and dangerous characters on the entire show.

We do feel at this point that someone major is going to do die soon, but the questions are twofold: Who will it be, and then how will they be eliminated from the equation in a way that impacts the rest of the characters. Jax also has to find out soon about Tara, at least if the show really wants to set up an interesting war between him and his own mother.
