‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Expect a rollercoaster for Oliver, Felicity

“Arrow” is almost here! The premiere episode is coming up on The CW Wednesday night, and that means a chance to see that Oliver / Felicity date everyone has been excited about for such a long time.

However, you probably know by now that “Arrow” loves to have all of its twists and turns, and that includes from a relationship point of view. Don’t expect these two (sadly) to get together right away because of one date; heck, there is no guarantee that they are even going to get together at all. Speaking to TVLine about the mysterious and winding road ahead, showrunner Marc Guggenheim laid out the following as a tease for what to expect:

“[The] relationship is going to take ups and downs and twists and turns … I think part of the fun — or agony — of watching these two people is they’re together, they’re apart, they’re together, they’re apart. We’ll see what the future holds for them.”

Still, there is no reason for the show to rush anything along when it comes to these two in the slightest. The producers know that Oliver and Felicity are popular, and with that in mind, they have no reason whatsoever to rush the storyline. The more that they tease you with the “will they or won’t they?” may lead to the more excited you are when it finally happens.

We do think that something will happen eventually. The larger question is whether or not they stay together after that.
