‘NCIS: New Orleans’ episode 4 preview: See Pride’s daughter, more in ‘The Recruits’
Next week, “NCIS: New Orleans” is going to deliver to us something that may be quite a revelation for many out there at this point: An episode that does not feature a bunch of cameos from other versions of the franchise. In an effort to further promote the show, four out of the five episodes to feature Pride and company (including the two-part “Crescent City”) have included at least one character from the flagship “NCIS” show.
Well, for next week’s “The Recruits,” you are actually going to see an episode where the characters no longer have that to rely on, and get a chance to swim on their own. Based on what we’re seeing right now, though, we have quite a bit to look forward to. Just take a look at the official synopsis for the episode below:
“After a Navy SEAL is found murdered in a sorority house, the NCIS team must determine if the motive pertained to one of his classified missions or collegiate foul play. Meanwhile, Pride’s daughter, Laurel, pays the NCIS office a visit.”
For those curious, Shanley Caswell is going to be the actress behind the role of Laurel. While she does not have any regular TV credits, she has guested on some other CBS shows including “The Mentalist,” “Vegas,” and “CSI: NY.” It honestly wouldn’t have shocked us if she had been previously credited in another edition of the “NCIS” franchise, mostly because this is something that we are used to when it comes to these shows over the years.
Is there anything you want to see specifically on the next “NCIS: New Orleans” episode? Let us know some more of your thoughts right now with a comment.

Since they were filming in NOLA, would like to see them film an episode on The Mississiippi Coast (They alluded to Ingalls (“Pascagoula Shipyard”), Stennis, (SEAL TEAM practice site), they missed CBC Gulfport, the home of the Navys Construction Battalion and the home of their own NCIS detachment.
