‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 4 preview: A creepy Pied Piper and much more

“Sleepy Hollow” likes to present their own demented versions of things much of the time, so it certainly seems appropriate that next week, we’d see the show’s bizarre new form of the Pied Piper.

Unfortunately, we don’t quite know a whole lot more than this, at least other than the short synopsis below released by Fox:

“Abbie and Crane’s search for a missing Sleepy Hollow child reveals a creature akin to the Pied Piper, whose legacy with the child’s family extends back to a centuries-old curse.”

As always, you can see more in the attached promo, but in all honesty, we certainly expected a little bit more when it comes to story content from this. Instead, it is basically a video regurgitation of the synopsis, with Ichabod questioning early and often why in the world someone would want to target a young girl, and what this Pied Piper really means?

We supposed that as a whole, though, the larger question is whether or not the show is moving fast enough. After seeing the first few episodes, we would rather the show kept the episode order small, mostly so that it reduced diversions. So far, we have not been fully convinced just yet that this is a show that really needed to spread things out over a larger order. We love it, but we love it as thrilling and exciting as possible.

Hopefully, we’ll still have some more news related to this show soon, including some more monsters and guest characters who will come on board this creepy town.
