‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ premiere: ‘Glee’s’ Lea Michele, more attend

While Wednesday night may be the premiere of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” on Fox, we’re not having to wait that long in order to see at least something from the new season’s premiere party!

This event was held in Los Angeles last night, and the following photo from series star Lea Michele is proof of it. Even though she is not reported to be a cast member on this upcoming season, it’s nice to see her supporting her “Glee” boss elsewhere. Lea does have a guest spot coming up on “Sons of Anarchy,” though, so she does have some familiarity with FX already.

Murphy has poured almost even more effort into this season of the show than any other that he has done, and you see that mostly thanks to the fact that he actually directed the premiere episode. This is not something that he has done in a couple of seasons, given his crazy schedule and his commitment to working on “The Normal Heart,” “Open,” and other projects.

The story is simple, if you’ve somehow missed many of the stories over the past few weeks. Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) is the owner / operator of a freak show in Jupiter, Florida, and is struggling to make ends meet. This is why she goes out and tries to assemble a perfect motley crew of people to bring in more visitors, including conjoined twins Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson). Unfortunately for her, there is also a killer clown on the loose who is determined to make the freak show and the surrounding area into a living nightmare.
