‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 5: Charlie Hunnam, danger in ‘Some Strange Eruption’ photos
Tuesday night’s “Sons of Anarchy” has a title first and foremost that means that some pretty testy things are coming up: “Some Strange Eruption.” We had an eruption of violence just this past episode at Diosa, and it may continue now in some other form.
Before that, though, could Jax (Charlie Hunnam) actually try to do a little negotiation? The photo above of him alongside Jarry (Annabeth Gish) shows that there is an attempt at negotiation being made here, and maybe this is her attempt to clean up the streets of Charming in any way possible. She is not a black-and-white officer like we’ve seen before. She’s more of a peacekeeper, interested in finding a resolution no matter how it comes about.
As for this other photo, it serves as a reminder of who is public enemy #1 right now for Jax: Lin and the Chinese. Sadly for him, we do not see anything changing anytime in the near future. Lin knows that Jax wants him out of the picture, but so far, he and Chinese far have the upper hand.
The only thing to remember while thinking about these stories is Gemma, and how almost everything ultimately traces back to her. Katey Sagal’s character is responsible for all of the bodies this season in one way or another, including Colette and everyone else at Diosa. If this war continues, we expect this tradition to continue … and sooner or later, it will involve some key members of SAMCRO.
