‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: Teresa Giudice canceling public appearances after sentencing

This past week, Teresa Giudice found out some news that definitely changed the entire course of her life: She will be spending 15 months (at most) in prison. This clearly changes everything, and it also changes some of the public appearances that she will have coming up.

In a post on her official Twitter account (the first since getting the prison sentence), the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star confirmed that she has canceled an appearance that was originally scheduled for this coming week:

“Hi, I just want to be clear there will be no Fabellini appearance this week. Stay [tuned] for further appearance announcements.”

Do we think that there will be a struggle moving forward when it comes to Teresa and these appearances? We would think it so, if for no other reason than that the reality star wants to do her part to ensure that she can help to pay the bills; however, at the same time she also wants to spend as much time with her family as possible prior to her having to begin her sentence. She will have to figure out a way to make this work in the end.

For the time being, there are two places for sure that you can see Teresa moving forward. First of all, the reality star will be on a special edition of “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen on Monday. There is also a new episode of her long-running series Sunday night, but it will contain entirely old footage filmed well before what happened this past week.

What did you think about this move, and do you think Teresa would be better served by taking some time away from the spotlight? Share below.
