NBC’s ‘The Voice’ video: More fun for Pharrell, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton

The Voice -Monday night, “The Voice” will return with another new episode, but why not have a little bit of fun before that?

In the new video below, you can see more of what Pharrell Williams is up to when it comes to winning contestants over to his show, and we feel like this really shows more than ever why he is so good at this job. He’s not afraid to humble himself before his contestants, and make them feel more like they are the legitimate stars. This is a smart strategy for him as a coach, but this also says a lot about himself as a person. This is probably why he is so good as a producer, mostly because he never feels like he needs to be the star the majority of the time.

Of course, Pharrell’s strategy does not always mesh well with some of the general boasting you see from the likes of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, so there is a little bit of a fun back-and-forth that goes along with this. Overall, though, this video is just another great reminder of why we like the coaches this season more than almost any other. Pharrell seems more concerned with the contestants than anything else, but that opens him up for some more attacks from the others. He can fire back at Blake and Adam, but he does it in a different way than a guy like Usher. Ultimately, he doesn’t need to dance along the stage to get what he wants.
