‘Gotham’ episode 3 preview: Selina Kyle takes Gordon through the crime scene

At the moment, we certainly feel for James Gordon on “Gotham.” Not only is he struggling to solve a murder of two very famous residents in the Waynes, but his only supposed witness is a young girl who has no real intention of following the letter of the law.

So can he really trust Selina Kyle? This is something that he is going to have to figure out over the course of the next several weeks, but the latest example of it can be seen in the sneak peek below for Monday’s episode. In it, Selina can at least claim that she did prove that she was in the area at the time the murder happened, though she has yet to show that she was actually in this place. She could be using this to more or less by herself time, and save her from being thrown into the criminal justice system for kids.

Even as some of her information starts to line up, Gordon still keeps her in handcuffs. Why? Ultimately, you can never be too safe, and he already knows that she is capable of running away if she gets an opportunity. He also has the leverage for her to give him every bit of information that she saw. Supposedly, she can see during the night, and if possible, he will try to find a way to use this information to his advantage.

We’ll have to see what happens from here, but we will have our latest “Gotham” review up tomorrow night.
