‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: First look at ‘The Itch’

Sometimes, “Criminal Minds” is kind enough to give us a substantial amount of information about an upcoming episode. However, there are other times where they choose for some evil reason to be incredibly coy. When it comes to talking about the upcoming season 10 episode “The Itch,” they have decided to be the latter.

CBS did not choose to reveal much of anything about the story of the episode in their official synopsis below, at least other than that the UnSub for this episode has a very unusual habit. Take a look below:

“When a body is discovered in Atlanta covered in scratches, the BAU finds that this death and subsequent murders could be linked to an UnSub with an obsessive skin disorder, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Alicia Coppola (“Jericho”) guest stars as support group leader Lisa Randall.”

When we don’t get a whole lot of specific information about an episode before it airs, what are we supposed to look forward to? Really, the network just has to hope that there are many people out there who watch the show strictly for the purpose of seeing the UnSubs, and seeing what is done to try and stop there. There is so little else to go on that you cannot really watch for any particular character moments.

What we at least know is that the Jennifer Love Hewitt era is off to a pretty solid start, and we will have to see what lies ahead now.
