‘The X Factor’ UK: Did Lizzy Pattinson, Jay James, or Stevi Ritchie rule at Simon Cowell’s judges houses?

The latest news -Tonight, “The X Factor” was once again divided into multiple parts. We started with the journey of Mel B and the Boys, and after some gratuitous One Direction promotion, we returned with Simon Cowell and the Overs.

Want to see who made it through with the Boys? Then head over to the link here. We’re going to give you as much information on the Overs here as the show really allows us. After all, they don’t like to give you the full story all of the time.

Stevi Ritchie – The man is quite possibly insane, and if Louis Walsh was the mission, we imagine that he would be sent right through to the live rounds. Unfortunately, he’s not, and despite being quite possibly the best performer to hire for your birthday party, he’s not a great singer.

Lizzy Pattinson – Lizzy, meanwhile, is the sort of artist who we feel is a little limited by a show where you have to sing a whole lot of cover tracks. She is capable of more than we’ve seen so far (Simon is right there), but can she ever really show it on this competition?

Helen Fulthorpe – We feel really bad for Helen, since we know that she can sing. Unfortunately, she messed up this Etta James number pretty badly. This is terrible for Helen, given that a year removed from Sam Bailey, she would have likely been perfect to get Simon Cowell to put her through.

Jay James – Probably the best of the Overs, but this has been a pretty weak lineup for the most part. Jay is a little nasally, but at least he knows how to connect well with a song.

Fleur East – Probably the one member of the Overs with a chance to really be a pop star. She has a good voice, and her doing the Nicki Minaj rap on “Bang Bang” shows that she also does have some versatility.

Ben Haenow – Hey now! A great performance, and basically, the back three on this episode really earned their places … but we will have to wait until the next episode for some results.
