‘Gotham’ episode 3 spoilers: Could the Penguin actually save Gordon?

How about this for a nice little element of poetry? During the pilot episode of “Gotham,” it was James Gordon who in a way managed to save the life of Oswald Cobblepot, as he opted to not actually murder him at the pier.

At the time being, he told him to never come back to Gotham City, but who would’ve thought that Gordon would need the guy to bail him out in the future? This is a complicated world, and let’s just set up where we are at the moment with this: Word spreads quickly, and not everyone may be so keen to learn that the supposed good guy on the police force is actually a responsible party for a murder, regardless of whether or not it is of a particularly likable man.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Penguin will turn up on the show again Monday, and really at a time that is most beneficial to James. He may be able to bail him out in a way, and help to prove that he is not a murder, or a terrible person. We don’t want to spoil this completely, but it shouldn’t be too difficult for you to figure out who James would want to keep on his side, and keep believing him out of the many members of the cast.

Following this, let’s just hope that the Penguin doesn’t go too insane too quickly. There’s been so much in the first few episodes, we have a hard time knowing where the series goes from here.

What do you want to see with the Penguin moving forward, and are you worried at all that the series is moving so quickly? Share in the comments.
