‘The X Factor’ UK: Did Jake Quickenden, Paul Akister, Andrea Faustini make live shows?

The judges -Last night on “The X Factor” UK, we got a chance to see two performers among Mel B’s boys come out, and try to make it on her team for the live shows.

Want to see some more about those performers? Then just head over to the link here! Out of those two, we feel like Andrea Faustini is a lock to advance, and while Jack Walton was okay, his work is cut out for him.

Jordan Morris – Okay, but he was a little too theatrical in his delivery. He needs to go away and realize that rather than trying to sell the song so hard, he needs to feel it first and foremost.

Danny Dearden – A very lovely voice. We wonder if his would hold up over the course of the competition, though, since it is so high. There were some flat notes in here, but these things can be corrected.

Jake Quickenden – He doesn’t have the best range out of the guys in the competition, but he does have a nice rock edge, and there isn’t a whole lot else in the competition like him. He can really do all right if he focuses on this.

Paul Akister – Regardless of however much flack some may want to give Louis Walsh for getting rid of Paul last season, it was the right move. He’s that much better this year, and he may now have a chance to win. Last season, his ceiling would have been in the Craig Colton spot.

Decision – Mel chose Jake, Paul, and Andrea to go through, which to be honest may have been a fairly easy choice. We felt that these three were clearly the best, and the other ones are not ready to be on the show this year.
