‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 1 video: Jensen Ackles’ Dean gets a little frisky

Clearly, Demon Dean has very few cares in the world, and it doesn’t matter if he is partying, hanging out with the guys, or waking up in bed after a wild night with a woman.

In the sneak peek below, this side of Jensen Ackles’ character is not exactly adept at showing bedside manner to Ann-Marie, who he already slept with for so long that he made her late for work. He basically makes it clear in one of the most nonchalant ways possible that he really is just passing through, and that she’d be fairly crazy to get attached.

One of the moments that may make fans the angriest after watching this, though, is seeing the banter between Dean and Crowley (Mark Sheppard), which is typically reserved for Winchesters only. What should you take away from this? More than anything else, that this is not the Dean you remember. He may be a heck of a lot of fun to watch and a great experiment for the show, but don’t expect Demon Dean to have all of the qualities of the guy you’ve come to love. This is one of the reasons you should pine for Normal Dean to return, even if does take a little while.

One thing is clear, though. Regardless of whether or not he is a demon, you’re probably not going to see Dean settle down anytime soon. The truth is that we can never see either Winchester stopping their hunting ways now, and it’s very hard to have loved ones in the midst of that.
