‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Does Joseph Morgan predict romance for Klaus?
Is love going to be in the air on “The Originals” season 2? It may be, but it doesn’t quite look like there will be a whole lot of it for Klaus. Just because he and Hayley had a baby together doesn’t mean that they will be together anytime soon; meanwhile, Caroline is off on another show in “The Vampire Diaries.”
So what about Cami? Could there be something in the works for the two, given their relationship that we’ve come to enjoy? It doesn’t seem likely, at least in the way that will make people happy in the end. Speaking to TVLine in an interview promoting the upcoming second season, Joseph Morgan was not exactly confident on the pairing’s chances moving forward:
“I don’t think so. I don’t know. I hope not for Cami’s sake because he seems to destroy anyone that has any potential of getting close to him. He sabotages that relationship. They self-destructed in that way. So I don’t know of any love interests for him. But if there are, I’m sure it won’t end very well.”
We know that there are quite a few out there who do want to see Klaus in love, and to a certain extent, we understand many of their feelings on the subject. It is something that we’d love to see explored further at some point, but we don’t think he is quite ready yet. Rather than just forcing him to be with someone right now, let him continue to grow a little as a character, and maybe get some of his family problems under control. After that, maybe he will be a little more available to be with someone.
