ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2, episode 2 preview: Bellamy’s new struggle

Where is the story going from here on “Resurrection“? This is something that we hope to have some answers for very soon, but for now, hopefully the sneak peek below from Sunday’s “Echoes” suffices.

Basically, the story of this sneak peek is simple: Bellamy is struggling to try to balance his new orders with what he actually wants to do. Of course, he does not want to report on some of these people, especially now that he realizes that he is one of them after being tormented and killed in the time between season 1 and season 2. With that being said, what other choice does he have? The last thing he wants is for the government to come in and do even more terrible things to these people.

The one thing that we are personally the most surprised about right now with this season is how internal things feel. What we mean by that is that we expected almost the entire nation to be glued on Arcadia after the arrival of the army, but that hasn’t exactly happened. Instead, all parties involved here have shockingly found a way to contain everything … at least to a certain extent. Bellamy knows that sending away a hospitalized return could be trouble both for these people and for his mission, which is probably why he is trying so hard to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Unfortunately, we still feel like he is fighting an uphill battle. Sooner or later, it does feel like there are going to be some tough events that he will have to deal with, and it is strictly a matter of when.
