ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Bellamy Young surprises, more in ‘Inside the Bubble’

“Scandal” loves its various twists and turns, and it sure sounds like you are going to get quite a few of them still in new episode “Inside the Bubble” airing next week.

Will this be the episode where Mellie Grant starts to turn it around? Bellamy Young’s character has been in a difficult place so far this season, as she mourns the loss of her son while having the public stare at her every move. It’s not going to get easier on her moving forward, though, and she may have a few more things to become transfixed about. If you want to see some more details about what you can expect, check out the official synopsis below:

“An old friend (Sonya Walger) returns for help after her daughter goes missing, Cyrus has an awkward run in during a business breakfast, and Jake uses his connections to get some answers. Meanwhile, Mellie becomes obsessed with a national news story and David goes to great lengths to prove himself.”

If nothing else, we at least know that Mellie has recovered enough to put on a brave face, even if it required a good pep talk from Abby before she would even consider it. We know that there are some other interesting stories in this episode, as well, but admittedly, it’s rather hard to gleam details based on the synopsis below. Hopefully the promo (which may be below by the time you read this) will be a better source of information.
