‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: A Misha Collins alliance; Jensen Ackles’ next effort
You’ve known for a long time that Jensen Ackles is directing an upcoming episode of “Supernatural” season 10. As a matter of fact, “Soul Survivor” was the first installment filmed this entire season.
So what is the story going to be about here? Based on what we know right now, you’re going to see Sam (Jared Padalecki) continue to do what he can in order to protect Dean, even from afar. Meanwhile, Misha Collins has one of his most interesting stories to date, as Castiel actually may end up becoming a temporary friend for Crowley (Mark Sheppard) as he tries to purge Hell of a guy who is causing him all sorts of trouble: Dean.
This episode airs on Tuesday, September 21, but you can read some of the first details all about it below:
“Sam (Jared Padalecki) continues his efforts to save Dean (Jensen Ackles) from the Mark of Cain. Crowley (Mark Sheppard) realizes Dean’s demonic antics are starting to cause problems for him in Hell so he searches out an unlikely ally – Castiel (Misha Collins).”
To us, this sounds pretty awesome, and it is perfectly capable of continuing the trend of great episodes of the CW series so far in season 10. We haven’t seen a single thing yet that we are extremely afraid of when it comes ruining the momentum we had at the end of season 9.
With the fifth episode being the 200th, we do still wonder whether or not the Demon Dean story will be over by around then. Isn’t that around the time the brothers should be back together?

I hope this is the last season. It’s getting old. I really like Dean (and Jensen Ackles) but I am so tired of Sam and Castiel. They are annoying and boring. I hope Jensen Ackles goes on to bigger and better things even if it’s just directing.

Cas would never side with Crowley against Dean. He loathes Crowley. Sounds awful, actually.

eh, he sided with Crowley against Dean in S6…i don’t take this that Crowley would want to cause Dean harm, just maybe rein him in…

Cas does what is needed to be done. He conspired with Crowley to find Purgatory because he thought he was doing the right thing to win against Raphael. He will definitely have no problem teaming up with Crowley to save Dean.

I think he may joining Crowley to stop Dean from being a demon which ‘helps’ Crowley and certainly isn’t what Dean wants, but is what he needs.
