‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16, episode 3 preview: Mariska Hargitay, cast in ‘Producer’s Backend’
You can see a full synopsis for the upcoming episode below, and it looks like Benson is going to have her work cut out for her in this case:
“Amaro (Danny Pino) reports to the scene of a car crash where Hollywood starlet Tensley Evans (guest star Stevie Lynn Jones) tries to flirt her way out of an arrest. Amaro’s by-the-book handling of the situation gets him back on the SVU squad, just in time to investigate Tensley’s latest offense – the statutory rape of a 15 year-old boy. But Benson (Mariska Hargitay) suspects that underlying issues may have led to Tensley’s downward spiral – is the victimizer also a victim?”
The one thing that we do know at the moment is that the show is going to have a hard time trying to top tonight’s “American Disgrace.” From start to finish, this was the most complicated and twisted hour the series has done in some time, including an ending that we really did not see coming in the first half of it.
In “SVU” we trust, and we’ll have to see what comes next.
