‘White Collar’ season 6: Tim DeKay lands post-show role on ‘Agents of SHIELD’
We have written frequently about what Matt Bomer has been up to since the end of “White Collar” production, but what about some of his co-stars? That is why we are happy to be writing here with some good news about Tim DeKay.
Per a new report from Zap2It, the man behind Peter on the USA series has been cast as Sen. Maynard Ward on the upcoming sixth episode of “Agents of SHIELD” season 2. Maynard is the older brother of Brett Dalton’s Grant Ward, and you can in many ways attribute him as the party responsible for starting to turn Grant into a HYDRA traitor. This episode should teach us quite a bit when it comes to both characters, and we personally love the fact that Tim is getting the chance to play who seems to be a pretty awful guy after being more on the straight and narrow throughout “White Collar’s” run.
The final season of this series starts next month, and we will yet again see Neal Caffrey taking on a criminal organization … with it this time being the Pink Panthers. It’s still unclear how Peter will fit into the story, but we are sure that he will make his impact (as he always does).
With this being “Agents of SHIELD,” the show is hesitant to reveal much more, including how long DeKay will be sticking around for. If nothing else, we’re glad to see him getting another gig so soon, and hopefully this means that more great stuff will come his way in the weeks and months ahead.
