‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: See Jennifer Love Hewitt in video from premiere

Come tomorrow night, “Criminal Minds” will be back on the air over on CBS; but, why wait that long to get a sneak preview of what you can expect?

In the video below, you can see Jennifer Love Hewitt’s new character of Kate Callahan out on the scene with Rossi (Joe Mantegna) while the two question a very creepy family man about a large stock of preservatives that he is in possession of. As you would suspect with any possible criminal, he refused to let the two parties in, and told them that they’d need to be in possession of a search warrant if they want to make it any further onto his property. This led to a comment about Kate wanting to arrest her personally, which we suppose is the show wanting us to see Kate as this awesome butt-kicker character.

We are going to see throughout the premiere that Kate does bring a ton of skills to the table, and that is one of the reasons why she managed to get this job in the first place. However, there are some significant flaws with her that are going to come up over the next several weeks, even if you may not see all of them right away. We’ll have some more on that as we get a little closer to it airing.

We don’t expect this premiere to necessarily be Kate-specific, but you do have to nail her introduction to a certain degree. The last thing that you want to do is make the new character pale in comparison to the others.
