ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 2 video: Who does Nathan Fillion’s Rick kiss?

You were most-likely shocked by much of what you saw on the season 7 premiere of “Castle” Sunday night, but we also have a feeling that you will be just as shocked by what you see in the sneak peek below for Monday night’s new episode “Montreal.” Let’s just say that Castle is going to kiss someone at the precinct, and it is not Beckett.

Who is it? Watch the video first if you don’t want to be spoiled! We’re assuming that you’ve watched it now, and the woman in question is Captain Gates! Admittedly, we’re still wondering why in the world Nathan Fillion’s character did this. Is he still somewhat crazy after not remembering what happened to him? It’s possible, given that he does this after Gates chides him for giving out an NYPD phone number in an effort to escape the press. His disappearance was the stuff of national news while he was gone, and this is something that he has to adjust to … along with the fact that it’s unclear when or if he and Beckett will actually be getting married now. It doesn’t seem to be directly on the horizon after the events of the finale.

“Montreal” may give us a little bit more of that “mythology” the show has been setting up about who is responsible for the kidnapping, but there is also another mystery in here regarding the possible death of a toy company owner. Maybe this is a standard case, or maybe it does actually tie in to a larger degree.
