‘NCIS: New Orleans’ episode 2 preview: Michael Weatherly stops by (video)
“NCIS: New Orleans” has figured out a heck of a smart thing to do when it comes to getting their new show off of the ground. Not only are they airing new episodes after the flagship “NCIS,” but they are also doing their part to facilitate as many crossovers as possible.
With that in mind, we present you with the newest sneak peek from the next new episode airing Tuesday night, and one that includes none other than Agent Anthony DiNozzo! In an effort to offer up some expertise on a case, Tony comes down from Washington DC, complete with hazmat suit and all. It is interesting that we never heard about any visits to the Big Easy for the first decade of the flagship show, but that’s just the way that TV works sometimes.
One of the smart things that “New Orleans” has done to facilitate some of these guest appearances is work to make this branch fairly limited when it comes to resources. Therefore, it is easy for them to mix up some other cast members into this show. Pauley Perrette is someone you should also watch out for, and Rocky Carroll is basically making the rounds on every version of the show right now as Vance.
So far, “NCIS: New Orleans” has proven to be a smart risk by CBS, with the ratings showing that there is a solid audience both in total viewers and those 18-49. While the series does skew old, that was something everyone probably saw coming a mile away.
