‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ teaser: One of the creepiest ones yet?

FX continues to release new teasers when it comes to “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” and the latest one below is probably one of the creepiest ones that we have seen yet.

In the video below, you can see what is basically a woman with a head, shoulder blades, and a bellybutton, all facing the front. This is all sorts of confusing, isn’t it? Thanks to the placement of her arms and hands, we really have no way of knowing how this is possible, unless of course the woman was just born with this unusual anatomy.

Almost anything is possible within this freak show, but the one thing we can certainly say after watching this teaser is that this is not particularly … scary. With that being said, most of these teasers are not. The goal of these teasers are mostly to just get excited about what is coming up, and not to give you any scoop when it comes to the story. There are no characters in these teasers who we expect to be extremely important when the show actually premieres on Wednesday, October 8.

In general, we will say that expectations are very high for this show. It is one of the most-hyped editions next, and the ratings for “Coven” were pretty fantastic from the get-go. Just the premise of this show alone will probably be enough to convince some to tune in; for others, the cast list (which includes Emma Roberts, Michael Chiklis, Kathy Bates, and many others) should be enough to have you psyched.
