‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 2 spoilers: Is Naomi Hyland dangerous?
Throughout the season 2 premiere of “The Blacklist,” the character of Naomi Hyland was made out for the most part to be fairly weak. She was captured by Berlin and his men, and it seems like she will be sent back to Raymond Reddington in parts over time. Fairly grim, no? Well, it is in keeping with the show’s tradition of being both violent and shocking at the same time.
So what could be coming up next for her? A big thing that you do have to remember here is that while she may not be the strongest person we’ve ever seen on the show, she is most-likely far more dangerous than anything we’ve seen from her so far. There are two things, after all, that you need to remember here.
- It may have been decades ago, but she was married to Red. Anyone who has that sort of history with the man probably picked up some tricks of the trade at some point.
- She also is played by Mary-Louise Parker. If this role was a weakling, we have a hard time imagining that the show would have found someone as good as the “Weeds” actress for the role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, it does appear for sure like we are going to see more of Naomi’s “other” side when it comes to Monday’s “Monarch Douglas Back.” Whether or not she can defeat Berlin on her own remains to be seen, but she is not going to go down on this show without a fight.
