‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 2 video: Maggie tells Jo to ‘bring the thunder’

“Grey’s Anatomy” loves stirring up controversy, and for Thursday night’s new episode entitled “puzzle with a piece missing,” we’re going to have that in the form of Maggie. She is a character we’ve only recently met compared to Meredith or Derek, and yet the entire episode will be about her.

What’s the advantage to this? What may be interesting about this is that it serves as reintroduction to the show in some ways. If you are a new viewer to the show, you don’t have to worry about catching up with a decade’s worth of history. You are seeing characters like Dr. Bailey and Jo through the eyes of someone new to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

The disadvantage that comes to this status for Maggie is that she is not someone who will know the best way to handle every single doctor just yet. For example, she tells Bailey to “bring the thunder” in the same way she does Jo, and little does she know that Bailey has more thunder than one of the storms that comes up in the Seattle sky.

Being that this entire episode revolves around this character, we can only hope that at some point by the end of this, we ultimately find out how Meredith reacts to the truth. Of course, this also infers that at some point, Meredith is actually going to learn the truth. These two things do sorta go hand in hand, right?
